Pastor Gilbert Ambalwa Ngusi is the Senior Pastor of Jesus Victory Church Makuyu (JVC). He is married to Joyce Shikunzi Ambalwa and they are blessed with four children: Ike Matunda Ambalwa (son), Doreen Mutakale Ambalwa (daughter), Blessing Wikhutsila Ambalwa (daughter), Gary Shikunzi Ambalwa (son). Jesus Victory Church is located in Makuyu Murang'a South. Jesus Victory Church is helping raise good Christian men, women and youth.

 

JVC has a vision of creating a community driven care center of excellence to provide basic needs, education, skills and spiritual guidance for the entire community. The goal is to empower individuals (young and old alike) to eradicate the cycle poverty in the community. This community faces many problems like meeting basic needs, rising costs of resources, prolonged drought which affects crops/food resources, lack of affordable healthcare, lack of education and more. This center would provide basic needs (physical and spiritual) for the most vulnerable people, especially children.
